A torn-up roofline after a storm isn't a "get to it next week" problem, and we don't treat it like one — Roof Repair Smedway answers, scopes the damage, and dispatches a crew across Princeton fast.
Roof Repair Smedway grew out of Princeton, MN job sites, not a corporate rollout plan — that's still how we staff every Roof Leak Repair crew we send to Princeton.
We don't treat licensing as a formality — it's proof that the person on your roof knows what they're doing and that you're covered if anything goes sideways.
We've replaced enough botched patch jobs from other companies to know exactly what corner-cutting looks like a year later — drywall stains, soft decking, mold nobody can see yet.
Proof of licensing before the first ladder goes up.
Someone answers, every time, day or night.
Every price is itemized, not eyeballed over the phone.
We already know Princeton's weather patterns and permit process.
Catching a roof problem at the "annoying" stage is almost always cheaper than catching it at the "emergency" stage.
Homeowners in Princeton often mention they'd noticed something off months before calling — a stain that seemed to fade, a shingle that looked slightly out of place after a storm.
Heavy granule loss usually means the shingles are nearing the end of their service life.
Once a shingle starts warping, its seal against wind-driven rain is already compromised.
Daylight visible through the attic roof boards means water has the same path in.
Sagging or soft drywall usually points to sustained moisture, not a single isolated drip.
A slow leak or failing ventilation can quietly drive up cooling costs before you notice the leak itself.
A bare patch after high wind is a direct gap in your roof's weather barrier that needs covering right away.
Whatever the issue — emergency, routine, or somewhere in between — it gets handled by a crew that specializes in that exact type of work.
Below is the full breakdown of what we cover in Princeton, so you can see roughly where your situation fits before you even call.
Downed branches, torn flashing, and wind-lifted shingles all fall under our emergency response scope.
Every homeowner gets walked through material options before a decision is made, not after.
We schedule commercial jobs to minimize disruption to tenants and foot traffic wherever possible.
A full tear-off strips the roof to the decking, replaces any damaged boards, and rebuilds with new underlayment and shingles to current code.
Post-storm inspections give homeowners documented evidence, useful whether or not a claim gets filed.
If your roof has an architectural quirk, we scope it personally rather than forcing a standard fix.
Four steps, no surprises in between — here's exactly what happens after you pick up the phone.
A dispatcher logs your address, roof type, and the problem, then schedules based on urgency.
The inspection covers decking, flashing, and ventilation, not just the obvious visible damage.
Every figure is documented in writing — nothing verbal, nothing vague.
Warranty paperwork is handed over the same day the job wraps.
None of these reasons are unique claims in the roofing industry on their own — what matters is that we actually deliver on all of them together, on every Princeton job.
Being local means we're rarely the crew still driving in from somewhere else.
We'd rather lose a bid on an honest price than win one that grows later.
Certifications stay current so material warranties remain valid after installation.
If the finished work doesn't match what was agreed, we come back and fix it at no charge.
Storm-damage jobs come with documentation formatted for how most Princeton, MN adjusters review claims.
If a repair solves the problem, that's what we recommend — we don't push a replacement to inflate the invoice.
A verbal promise means nothing when you actually need it, so ours is documented and handed over at project close.
We also guarantee the number on your estimate — barring a scope change you approve first, that's the number on your invoice.
If you ever need to use the guarantee, the process is a phone call, not a fight.
Roof Repair Smedway dispatches Roof Leak Repair crews throughout Princeton and the surrounding communities across Princeton, MN, with coverage available further out on request.
Because our crews already know Princeton's layout, we rarely lose time to a wrong-turn delay that out-of-area companies deal with constantly.
We'd rather confirm coverage on a quick call than have a homeowner assume they're out of range and skip calling entirely.
